An overview on vibrated concrete
To make concrete, several materials are mixed: cement, gravel, sand, additives and of course water. During this mixing, which is generally done in the open air, a certain amount of air accumulates in the preparation. This can lead after formwork to an irregular appearance of the concrete or even to cracks.
In principle, all formwork structures must have a homogeneous appearance, in particular the reinforced concrete of the lintels and chains. The limits must not be exceeded at the risk of leading to an agglomeration of the aggregates at a single point or more concretely of creating a hole in the mixture. In general, the vibrating needle is sealed in nature, cylindrical in shape with a conical or hemispherical end. An eccentric weight is located inside the cylinder and acts as a vibrator by rotating rapidly on itself.

The latter must be adapted to the volume of the mass to be vibrated. Briefly, a needle of 50mm in diameter corresponds to 50cm in diameter of action.
